Ooma-Easy to use but there are some issues.

I took phone responsibilities for a small company that used 800# they used for everything. I started an Ooma office account and bought all the required equipment and phones, ordered their service and ported my Ooma office provided number-as per their suggestions. I started receiving a number of spam calls daily which were from the local exchange number they had given me. When I asked them to change the number, they charged for it. Their call quality is hit or miss. Because at my end, I have connected my hardware straight to the modem. It just means the call quality is bad at their end. There is no problem as such in their software, dashboard or hardware. It is easy to set up and get started too. It also gives a feeling of a professional setup. But it is the call quality that is a major drawback.

Pros
  • This is very easy to use and get started with the config
  • site
  • There are a lot of features at such an affordable price and this is easy to use too.
Cons
  • There are two issues with the Ooma office I had to face
  • One is the call quality and the other is the Spam calls
  • I do agree there could be some problems from my end too
  • But, I have a very fast internet connection and did not have any spam call problem until I switched to Ooma office
  • Now, after Ooma, I get 15-20 robot calls per day, and when I pick up the call I have to speak slowly so that words don't drop
  • The tech support personnel too do not give complete answers and take their own time to get back to you.
