Product shows potential but falls short in performance.

The main advantage of 8x8 is that, in my opinion, it is pretty simple to understand and use. Unfortunately, it can be aggravating that there are a lot of flaws in the software and that there haven't been any obvious advancements over time. Although it facilitates communication with customers, the service quality is uneven, frequently lagging and having reliability problems, which adversely affects our ability to conduct business.

Navigating Communication Challenges

Our experience with 8x8 was positive initially, and the features offered were commendable. However, as issues with delays and distorted sound emerged, our communication challenges continued, prompting the decision to switch providers.

  • The versatility to make calls from a computer, phone, and desk phone was a notable advantage
  • Despite the promising start, we encountered significant delays when using 8x8 over data, accompanied by distorted sound in the Virtual Office
  • These issues prompted a switch to a landline, and while considering alternatives in the VOIP realm, we faced challenges that persisted despite efforts, leading us to ultimately change providers.
