It was okay!

Rescue allows remote access to user systems, eliminating the need for cumbersome phone-based guidance. This feature is particularly valuable for help desk agents. Additionally, the software's capability to easily capture and store screenshots aids in documenting and resolving issues effectively.

Pros
  • The software's ability to establish fast connections for prompt issue resolution is highly valued
  • Additionally, Rescue ensures that users are always aware of the individuals they are connecting with, enhancing security
  • The responsive chat feature and easy-to-store screenshots contribute to a positive user experience.
Cons
  • There are a couple of drawbacks
  • Firstly, my team and I lacked administrative access to user systems, which may have been due to company policy or software limitations
  • Additionally, there were instances when the connection speed significantly slowed, resulting in a nearly two-minute delay between the user downloading the session tool and my ability to connect
  • As a workaround, we often had to use Skype
  • Furthermore, connections to Mac users often fail, posing a challenge.
