In our comparison of Avoxi vs. Talkdesk, Talkdesk is the best option with a higher overall Wheelhouse Score. Wheelhouse Score uses a combination of feature and pricing comparison data, average user ratings, and editorial reviews to score software vendors on a scale of 1-10.
I highly recommend Avoxi as the best DID provider.
Outstanding audio quality for DID service. Responsive and helpful customer support. User-friendly administration panel for easy DID management
Desire for more control over codec and DTMF settings for each DID from the control panel, but it hasn't hindered my work
Be sure to watch the training videos, which are helpful for getting started. Talkdesk is a great option for office settings, offering a more ergonomic alternative to holding the phone to your shoulder while typing.
I particularly enjoy the fact that it is accessible on the computer, as you are already looking at the screen anyway. It is very user-friendly, always available, and streamlines everyday tasks.
There are few negative aspects that come to mind regarding Talkdesk. If anything, I would suggest that the sound of the ringing tone could be improved, with the option for different sounds or tones. Additionally, when multiple calls are coming in, the inability to switch to an away or out of office mode means that calls keep appearing and require rejection, which can become tiresome. Finally, while cordless headphones are not a direct issue with Talkdesk itself, it would be beneficial to have this option available for users.
Avoxi has been instrumental in resolving our communication challenges, especially with the availability of DIDs worldwide. This has greatly improved our ability to assist international customers. Setting up new numbers is a breeze, and the Avoxi team is always there to lend a helping hand.
They excel at finding specific DID numbers at competitive prices
Previously, adding a new number required sending an email to my account manager (Note: This con has been addressed by Avoxi, as they now allow direct ordering through the dashboard)
Having the software functioning took extremely long. Their support team is extremely poor-unreliable, inept, etc.
None.
Extremely costly, not suitable for small enterprises, and terrible call quality.
