The experience with Sitefinity is satisfactory. They have great client service-responsive and extremely helpful.

Using it is easy, building the structure of your pages is easy thanks to the drag and drop features, getting started is aided by the numerous page templates, making edits at a template or page level is possible, and on the template level, it is possible to easily fix several pages that require the same edit.

Getting logged out is very common, pages get locked unintentionally, and unlocking the pages on demand is not possible if you don’t have admin permission.

You can fully customize Sitefinity as it is a simply lightweight .NET based CMS.

The learning curve is extremely small, it is fast to get started and functioning, the community has fast advent of updates with fixes and features, and handling thousands of pages is possible to the software.

Especially during upgrades, a few features are finicky, non-consistent backend interface, and unavailable caching options.

WordPress is a fantastic CMS platform, even for those who are not that familiar with web designing. I like that it has similarities with Blogger, which I used back in 2004. It has a free version, which is robust enough to be used on its own.

As I am quite familiar with its features as I used a similar platform previously. I found out that it wasn’t the same for new users. It has a high learning curve, but that’s normal for any CMS platform. Make sure to try the free version first and see if it suits you.
