Regrettably, Dr. Chrono's capabilities are rudimentary when it comes to practice management functions. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product, and I switched to another software over a year ago
I didn't find any specific aspect of this practice management software that stood out positively for me. I have experience with multiple practice management software options.
The searchability and generation of reports were major drawbacks. As a medical director, I faced difficulties with data searches and fulfilling required tasks. The financial interface for business purposes was also poor
If the lab interface is down, this software becomes very helpful. Also, for monitoring provisional outcomes, we use it too
None.
The overall experience with DrChrono's EMR is unintuitive, clunky, and unreliable. While the software has the potential to offer various capabilities, poor customer service, bugs, and a subpar user experience hinder its realization.
The e-prescribing module within DrChrono's EMR is considered the most user-friendly aspect. However, there is room for improvement, such as saving pending prescriptions for later signature.
Frequent downtime, slowdowns, and bugs are the major sources of frustration for DrChrono end users. For instance, there have been instances where the system ran extremely slow for hours, preventing the sending of controlled substance prescriptions and causing difficulties in saving notes. Appointments have also failed to save correctly, and note loading times have been unacceptably long. Other glitches include appointment reminders being turned off, buttons disappearing, and new diagnoses being added automatically to patient charts without justification. Additionally, deleting an appointment from the calendar can result in the corresponding note disappearing, which highlights the fragility of the system.
Can be tweaked and there is an IPad app.
Client care service is terrible.
