We moved to a disparate software set as there were multiple extraneous features not applicable to our practice while we searched for software to store printable SOAP charts and digital medical records for our medical massage therapy patients.
Reading the interface is simple, navigating landing pages is easy, getting via menus is simple, and colors pop.
For our practice, it was inappropriate or helpful.
As a psychiatrist, having an EMR that doesn't disrupt my patient interactions and enables me to complete notes promptly is essential, and Praxis delivers on these fronts.
Unlike other EMRs I've encountered, Praxis offers an open template that allows me to create notes in my own unique way, rather than relying on rigid drop-down menus and checkboxes.
I primarily use it for my specialty, so I may not be leveraging all its capabilities.
At the beginning is only when I managed to contact client service. I never managed to get aid setting up my e-prescribing after signing the year contract. When paying for the monthly fee, I wasn’t able to use it for the whole year.
Signing the contract was eased and made friendly as it’s among the cheaper solutions.
Client support is terrible, setting up and using e-prescribe is not possible, client service were unreachable after cancellation (upon dislike) of the prescription during the first year which is under contract.
EMR’s interface is straightforward. Installing it as you desire needs some time since it has lesser templates. Hopefully, upgrades and enhancements continue.
Simple to learn and follow, very well-arranged, has amazing features, it is quite easy to chart, and its UI is neat and straightforward.
Familiarizing with the system took a while- some features are poorly arranged, compared to bigger EMRs the adjustments and upgrades are a bit less, and installing every template was time consuming as note templates aren’t widespread.
