Nice connection with its upgraded version, hope to link with Discovery and SSRM in the future upgrade.
Our experience with WebFocus has been incredibly nice.
The connections it supports to Legacy Data are many.
Too much effort is required to move to a new edition.
It is a robust software, expensive but very useful. But unfortunately, the customer support couldn't help us find out the solution to the problem we did meet. It took almost 2 months but the result was hopeless. Then we managed to sort out things with the help of their partner, dbSeer but it costed us too much. SA simple security requirement wasn't fulfilled by it. So ultimately, we'd to terminate the program partnership and lost a great amount of money too with it. Not a single buck was refunded by Logi.
In short, we had to switch to another software. The only good they did to us was rewarding us with grace periods to let us find out a better substitute. Being a small non-profit company of ours, it was not for us.
If you can afford you can do a lot with it.
Very expensive maintenance and poor customer support.
Great customized reports and easy addition of new visualizations and formats.
AppStudio language can't be run easily. Dialogue manager language is not object-oriented.
